Our standard frames are 2cm x 2cm wooden moulding available in smooth white, smooth black, natural wood, black grain and white grain. The mount where applicable can be either smooth white or slightly textured cream.
We would always encourage our customers to choose the wood grain option where possible. The reliability of the quality of the product is so much better than the smooth options! Obviously our skilled framer makes a top quality frame whatever the moulding choice, but the smooth white especially is susceptible to damage in transit or when the customer opens the package.
Your print will be professionally mounted and glazed with shatterproof clear styrene. It is safe to post and looks just like glass.
The frames have an MDF back board kept in with flexipins. They each come with all the fixings the end use will need to hang the frame.
We print on a 230 gsm smooth matt paper. It's lovely! VAT is added at checkout.
International orders are possible for frames up to A3 in size but the A3+ mount size is too big. International orders will be send via Royal Mail airmail. Please choose the 'international' option on this page then still use your coupon code to remove the default shipping as this will be incorrect.
The A3+ mount frames are too big for the Royal Mail, whether sending domestic or international, so please select DHL for UK orders. Sorry we can't send them abroad as standard! If you really need to send one abroad then let us know and we'll get a DHL quote for you.
Instructions for ordering, please read carefully!
- Upload the artwork file and the dispatch note (if required) via the product listing before checkout.
- Please put your customer's address in the delivery address, and YOUR email address in the email section. Otherwise your customer could be emailed the order confirmation with the prices.
- Including the customer’s phone number would be useful in case the courier needs it. That’s all it would be used for.
- We will send you the shipping confirmation and tracking number to you so that you can click dispatch at your end.
Orders without a dispatch note - when designs look similar or are the same but with different personalisations; having something in the notes for each print file helps us make sure we don't pack the wrong print. A name or detail from the personalisation would be ideal. You can add a note to each artwork file when you create your order
Overseas orders - all orders to non EU destinations require a CN22 label (customs label) Please can you add as a note when you upload each artwork file the value of each print your customer has paid and in which currency.
Artwork files - the artwork needs to be a PDF, and if you are having foil then anything foiled needs to be in solid black in a separate file to any background colour you are having printed. It's best to talk it through with us first if you want foil because there are some minor limitations to the process. Also be aware the lip of the frame or mount will cover about 5mm all the way around the print so you might want to slightly re-size some things if they go right to the edge.
We'll add the item into our printing/framing pile and it will get 'dispatched' on our system like any other order. So you will get sent dispatch confirmation and tracking at the point we book it on with the courier.
